What is Flags of Freedom?

The Display of over 1000 - 3x5 American flags honors important groups: Children who
have lost their lives because of neglect and abuse; Military who served and are
presently serving; and the First Responders - Firefighters, Police and EMS.

The flags will fly from May 26 to June 9 2012 on the grounds of
First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, on the 45 Bypass in Jackson.

Child Abuse is a serious growing problem affecting more than 3 million of our nation's
children annually and over 6,200 individuals locally. Members of the Jackson Exchange
Club wish to bring awareness to this problem utilizing our flag as the symbol of our
nation's unity.

The Jackson Exchange Club supports child abuse prevention, youth scholarships,
patriotism, and other community service projects. Striving to make Jackson and
Madison County a stronger community and a better place to live.
